Facebook has reconnected me with so many long lost friends, most importantly, it built up an important social network for my elementary and junior high schoolmates. It feels like a cyberspace reunion, we exchange messages, chats, share pictures, arrange our gatherings....its so wonderful to hook up with so many childhood friends after some 25 to 30 years!
We all came from the school FuShin but we may come from different classes, we may not even know each other or heard of the name at all but it doesn't matter, what matters is we were once there! The bonding is strong!
I really enjoy this new venture, a monthly wine and dine, yes, it is alcohol that lights up the moon, it is the intoxication that softens the ambience, yet it is the crowd that clicks and speaks. We were at a small new Izakaya last night, the atmosphere, the food, the wine, the everything mold into a nice symphony, result in a very pleasant gathering. Of course my new camera, Olympus EPL-1, a birthday gift from my mom which captured all these precious moments, it has different effects, black/white, lomo and others, its one the best purchase.
What a wonderful world with these FuShin babies!
